Audio Visual Design Group was contracted to design and install the audio visual technology inside Campari America’s new beautifully designed corporate office space in San Francisco. The project featured a café space with full bar that doubled as an “All Hands” meeting space, a large boardroom, a video conferencing room, several huddle rooms, a sound masking system and a large two-by-two video wall in the lobby. Our team addressed two main chalenges in the design of the audio visual systems. The first was ensuring high quality audio for audio conferencing in a space that was highly reflective, or “live”, without the use of acoustic treatments. Our sound engineer was able to do this electronically with the use of sophisticated audio callibration. The other challlenge was addressing the way noise traveled in an open office area that housed 100+ employees. This challenge was met by introducing an active sound masking system that also allowed audio to pass through for either entertainment purposes or as overflow space during an “All Hands” meeting.
