In 2016, University of the Pacific launched the Physician’s Assistant Program at their Sacramento Campus. Audio Visual Design Group partnered with GM engineering to bring these state-of-the-art classroom and training facilities to life. The project consisted of a large classroom, simulation lab, simulated patient intake rooms and conference rooms. From these spaces, teachers and students are able to simulate any clinical environment- from an ER, ambulatory care center to a clinic- and record all of that using Simulation IQ. The technology in place also allows for remote learning by students and vice versa for teachers to teach classes remotely from the various campuses. Finally, utilizing Crestron Fusion, the onsite technical team is able to gather real analytics about room usage that allows them to make informed decisions about future spaces.
