remote learning technology
a new learning experience
The future of education is here and it’s never been more important. Schools across the globe are required to reinvent their classrooms to preserve the health of their students and personnel as well as respond to imminent conditions produced by the COVID-19 pandemic. AVDG is here to help you as a partner so you can continue taking the extra safety measures to keep your staff and students safe and comfortable.
Over a century ago, academic institutions turned to outdoor classrooms to respond to the health crisis that impacted the globe. While outdoor classrooms are still a great resolute, the technology available is revolutionary. From participant video walls to confidence monitors, to custom interfaces, AVDG can create an environment that equips professors, allows students to connect, and promotes collaboration. Virtual classrooms present infinite learning opportunities, allowing and professors students to simulate environments.

Learn more about ways that AVDG has helped integrate technology for academic institutions over the years.
University of the Pacific
The University of the Pacific launched the Physician’s Assistant Program at their Sacramento Campus. AVDG worked to bring their state-of-the-art classroom and training facilities to life. The project consisted of a large classroom, simulation lab, simulated patient intake rooms and conference rooms. From these spaces, teachers and students are able to simulate any clinical environment and record it using Simulation IQ. The technology in place also allows for remote learning by students and vise versa for teachers to teach classes remotely from the various campuses.
Shriram Center For Bioengineering and Engineering
The 206,000-square-foot Shriram Center for Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering Building is the new building at Stanford University. AVDG was contracted to provide the design and installation of the AV systems throughout several meeting spaces, 20 faculty offices, and large classrooms. Classrooms included tiered seating, multiple floor-boxes throughout for laptop connection, a custom lectern with confidence monitor, loop for assistive listening, and dual projector and screens. The system is controlled by a Crestron control panel with a custom programmed user interface.
