TRANSFORMING ZENDESK'S HQ EXECUTIVE BRIEFING CENTER

Zendesk, an acclaimed customer relationship management software developer, serves over 200,000 customers globally. Their software facilitates customer support through various channels including text, mobile, phone, email, live chat, and social media.

PROJECT SCOPE

AVDG was engaged to conceptualize, engineer, and implement the AV elements of Zendesk's HQ Executive Briefing Center in San Francisco. The objective was to create a space that not only reflected the company's brand, culture, and customer-centric approach but also provided a platform for hosting top-tier clients to discuss their unique needs.

DISPLAY SYSTEMS

A range of LCD displays, varying in size from 55” to 130”, were strategically placed throughout the facility, including the lobby, lounge, training room, kitchen, dining room, living room, and conference rooms. In addition, attention-grabbing LED video walls were installed in the living room and hospitality lounge.

VIDEO CONFERENCING SYSTEMS

To facilitate seamless communication, live video conferencing capabilities were integrated into multiple spaces, including conference rooms, dining areas, kitchen, and training rooms. Each of these spaces featured an HD camera and HDMI connection for conferencing and content sharing.

AUDIO SYSTEMS

Tailored audio solutions were deployed in various spaces, encompassing ceiling-mounted, in-ceiling recessed, and in-wall flush-mounted loudspeakers, USB sound bars, speakerphones, microphone arrays, amplifiers, and associated cables and connectors. These components were strategically positioned behind the displays.

ADDITIONAL SPACES

A dedicated control system processor was implemented to host graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for managing background music scheduling and volume, source selection, and layout control for video walls. This system also oversaw lighting control and skylight shade adjustments. The GUIs were accessible via Apple iPads and touch panels located in the living room. Wall-mounted keypads were additionally provided in select areas for localized volume control.
