Stanford Shriram Center

Stanford University is one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions.

The 206,000-square-foot Shriram Center for Bioengineering and Chemical Engineering Building at Stanford University is the fourth and final building on the new Science & Engineering Quad (SEQ) and a facility jointly supported by the Schools of Engineering and Medicine. Audio Visual Design Group was contracted to provide the design and installation
of the audio visual systems in this space which consisted of several meeting spaces, 20 faculty offices and a large classroom. The highlight of this project was the Registrar’s Classroom. These are technology-enhanced classrooms created to faciliate multi-media presentations. This classroom included tiered seating, multiple floorboxes throughout for laptop connection, a custom lectern with confidence monitor, Loop for assistive listening, and dual projector and screens. The system is controlled by a Crestron control panel with a custom user interface programmed by our in-house programmers.
